New for 2026 is the Hands Across The Sea Three-Position Postal Match with Australia.

This new postal match, a friendly match with our friends in Australia, will debut at the NRA National Smallbore Three-Position Championship in Marengo, Ohio, this summer.

Two teams of four will be selected from the top eight in the Three-Position Metallic Sight Aggregate on July 20. Postal scores will be taken from scores these eight competitors will fire as they compete on their regular teams in the Team Matches on July 21.

The Team Captain will be No. 9 and the Coach will be No. 10, and they will serve in administrative capacities only as they may have other teams to shoot on in the Team Matches.

Prone competitors have always enjoyed postal matches such as the Randle, the Dewar, the Drew and the Wakefield, so here is something for the Three-Position enthusiasts. The NRA Smallbore Nationals have enjoyed visits from our Australian friends for several years and expect Australian competitors this summer as well.
