IWI US, Inc., a subsidiary of Israel Weapon Industries (IWI) Ltd., has signed on as a Gold Sponsor of the 2016 East Coast Steel Challenge Championship. The event will be held September 23-25 at the Guthsville Rod and Gun Club in Orefield, PA.

The East Coast Steel Challenge Championship is a Tier 3 Steel Challenge Shooting Association (SCSA) match with cash payouts and a huge random drawing prize table. Last year the competition was stiff, with more than 600 participants competing over all three SCSA matches. The Steel Challenge course of fire consists of 195 rounds minimum, as well as eight official SCSA stages, including the difficult “Outer Limits” and “Speed Option” stages.

"We're proud to be Gold Sponsors of the East Coast Steel Challenge Championship. The competition is fierce and the match requires a reliable, accurate, fast shooting weapon to make it through. IWI's weapons are forged and tested in the heat of battle and are ready for any fight, whether that's in the battlefield or the battle for first place," said Michael Kassnar, vice president of sales and marketing for IWI US.
