Gemtech has added new direct thread mount Abyss and Neutron models to its suppressor lineup.

Now available with the Abyss 5.56 and 7.62 suppressors, along with the Neutron 7.62, are direct thread adapters that are compatible with HUB 1.375-24-inch thread pitch.

ABYSS 7.62 DIRECT THREAD
Gemtech’s new Abyss 7.62 direct mount suppressor (MSRP: $749) is made of stainless steel and titanium and has a total weight of 16.2 ounces.

These newly designed direct thread adaptors for 5.56 mm and .30-caliber barrels are also available as an individual purchase for owners of Abyss and Neutron models that include an ETM (Elite Taper Mount).

More from Gemtech: “This new feature creates an overall lighter and more compact design across these suppressor series and ultimately provides flexibility for the end user to utilize other existing mounting systems on the market.”

Built on five of Gemtech’s patent-pending technologies, the heavy-use Abyss suppressor lineup sports a baffle design that lowers pressure, minimizes muzzle flash and lessens back pressure by routing gasses forward away from the shooter.

As for the versatile Neutron series of suppressors, a refined baffle and flash hider end cap aid in reducing muzzle signature.

“The Abyss and Neutron suppressors are built on durability and performance,” Gemtech Product Manager Corey Beaudreau said. “This added direct thread feature provides end users the ability to pair their suppressor with compatible mounting systems that they may currently own or are looking to pursue, allows them to take advantage of Gemtech technology and, in return, can help them save money.”

MSRP for the Gemtech Abyss 5.56 and 7.62 suppressors with direct thread mounts are $719 and $749, respectively, while the Neutron 7.62 is $710. Learn more at gemtech.com.
