New from Magpul, the Pro 700 Lite SA chassis (MSRP: $599.95) is compatible with short-action Remington 700 and other short-action Remington 700 footprints.

Retaining key features from the original Pro 700 chassis, Magpul says the Pro 700 Lite SA “strikes a balance between features and cost without sacrificing performance ... the Pro 700 Lite SA turns your 700-pattern rifle into the perfect bolt-action precision machine.”

Magpul Pro 700 Lite SA
The Pro 700 Lite SA chassis ($599.95) sports an injection-molded polymer grip with a five-degree forward edge sweep and enlarged palm swell with seven-degree aft edge sweep.

The lightweight design weighs in at 4.4 pounds, which is one pound less than the Pro 700. As for customization, there are 0.8 inch of comb height and 1.4 inches of LOP adjustments. Additionally, the low-profile rubber butt-pad is adjustable for height and cant.

The Pro 700 Lite SA surrounds its billet aluminum chassis with Magpul polymer. Built around the user, it is fully ambidextrous (by swapping a bolt retainer plate), and the vertical grip can be adjusted for different trigger reaches.

On the front, multiple M-LOK slots are available (left-six, right-six and bottom-seven) for mounting accessories.

As for sling attachment options, the Pro 700 Lite SA sports an ambidextrous 1.25-inch footman’s loop, a reversible quick-detach sling swivel cup and space for another one. The injection-molded polymer grip has a five-degree forward edge sweep and enlarged palm swell, with a seven-degree aft edge sweep for enhanced user comfort, along with a 0.75-inch fore and aft adjustment range using a hex wrench. An additional grip is included with a more aggressive sweep and enlarged palm swell for shooters more inclined to a less vertical grip interface (eight-degree forward/20-degree aft edge sweep).

Finally, the included large trigger guard easily accomodates gloved hands and aftermarket triggers. The AICS-pattern magazine well includes an ambidextrous mag release, plus a front barricade stop to prevent the rifle from resting on the magazine when using a barricade for support.

The Magpul Pro 700 Lite SA is made in the United States. Learn more at magpul.com.
