Safariland’s latest expansion in the hearing protection market targets users who need serious noise control without compromising situational awareness. The new Pro Impulse lineup introduces three models aimed at a variety of use cases—from casual range goers to professionals working in high-decibel environments.

The flagship product is the Pro Impulse Bluetooth earmuffs (MSRP: $74.98), an over-the-ear design that combines a respectable 23 NRR with 5X environmental amplification. The earmuffs integrate Bluetooth 5.0 for wireless calls and audio and sport four omni-directional microphones to maintain real-time awareness. Instant compression tech protects users from sudden sound spikes like gunshots. In addition, it’s powered by two AAA batteries, making it easy to maintain in the field.

For those preferring a more compact solution, the Pro Impulse Plus in-ear set (MSRP: $24.98) offers a high NRR of 41.7—enough to shield users from serious impulse noise. The filter system automatically suppresses dangerous sound levels while allowing ambient noise through. No batteries are required, and the set includes a lanyard and keychain case for portability.

Rounding out the collection is the Pro Impulse Range Kit (MSRP: $44.98), which packages the in-ear Pro Impulse Plus with a pair of anti-fog shooting glasses and low-profile earmuffs. This combo is ideal for shooters looking for a versatile, grab-and-go kit that doesn’t cut corners on safety.

Safariland’s new Pro Impulse series is designed to suit everyone from recreational shooters to professionals in tactical environments. For more details or to browse the full Safariland catalog, head to safariland.com.
