Safariland recently introduced the Schema inside-the-waistband holster, also sharing news that additional everyday carry options will be released by the company in the coming months.

The Safariland Schema’s Integrated passive trigger guard retention adds positive retention. Note that it is currently only available in a right-hand configuration.

The Schema is an optics-ready IWB holster designed for sub-compact firearms. The skeletonized outline of the holster frame has a smaller footprint than traditional IWB offerings for optimal concealability. In addition, this new model sports a reinforced mouth for seamless firearm holstering while the holster is worn. The firearm-specific design creates an exacting fit, which is further secured by Schema’s passive trigger guard retention.

Safariland Schema holsters are currently available for the SIG Sauer P365, P365XL, Taurus G2C (also G3C), Glock G43 (also G43X) and the Springfield Armory Hellcat.

The optics-compatible Schema holster will work many popular optics, including the SIG Romeo Zero, Trijicon RMR CC, Shield RMS, Shield RMS-C, Swampfox Sentinel, Springfield HEX Wasp, Holosun 407K, Holosun 507K, JP JPoint and Crimson Trace 1550.

Upcoming everyday carry models from the company will incorporate passive retention, up-to-date fits and EDC versatility “never before available in Safariland’s lineup.”

“Safariland is thoughtfully expanding on our concealment line to offer consumers unparalleled quality and innovation they’ve come to expect from the brand,” said Eric Gasvoda, vice president and general manager of duty gear for Safariland. “Schema is the beginning of the revitalization of our EDC holster line, and I can’t wait to get it into the hands of our customers.”

MSRP for the Safariland Schema IWB holster is $39.99. Learn more at safariland.com.
