Designed with simplicity in mind, Swarovski’s new MY Junior binos are geared towards junior nature lovers. Two colors are available, glacier blue and jungle green. MSRP: $499.

New from Swarovski is the MY Junior, a set of binoculars purpose-built for young people ages 6-14. Lightweight at 16.9 ounces, these new binos still pack substantial hardware with 7X magnification and effective 28 mm objective lens diameter.

The MY Junior binos are the company’s first children’s binoculars.

The MY Junior binoculars measure 4.9 inches long, 3.9 inches wide and 2.2 inches in height. Weight is 16.9 ounces.

 

There’s also an impressive field of view of 378 feet at 1,000 yards. Interpupillary distance is two to 2.7 inches and eye relief is 18 mm.

Besides the binoculars, the MY Junior set includes a Nature Notes notebook that is supplied for kids to record their own discoveries. The little hawk accompanies them and provides tips to help them put their experiences down on paper. There’s also a carrying bag, carrying strap and eyepiece cover included with purchase.

In addition, the new MY Junior binoculars are compatible with the Swarovski VPA 2 variable phone adapter (along with the CA-B clamp adapter).
