Team Remington’s Todd Hitch captured the runner-up spot in the Main Event at the 2026 Jack Link’s Cup, held February 10-15 at Quail Creek Sporting Ranch in Okeechobee, Florida. The event attracted nearly 1,700 of the nation’s top sporting clays competitors, with roughly 1,400 shooters vying for the Main Event title.

His performance headlined a strong showing for Team Remington, which posted multiple podium finishes across several disciplines throughout the weeklong event.

Hitch turned in a final score of 279 out of 300 targets to finish second, earning him a $15,000 payout for the Main Event. Combined with his other performances throughout the week, he walked away from Okeechobee with a $20,099 payout.

Hitch wasn’t the only Remington shooter making noise. Teammate Brandon Powell—the reigning 2025 Main Event Over All Champion—finished fifth this year with a score of 275 out of 300.

Beyond the Main Event, Team Remington stacked up results across the card. Michael Luongo delivered a flawless 50 out of 50 in the 12-Gauge event, topping a field of 483 shooters to win the High Over All title. Hitch wasn’t far behind, finishing third in the same event with 49 targets.

Luongo, a South Carolina native, added a third-place result in the 20-Gauge competition, dusting 44 of 50 targets.

Powell continued to rack up hardware with a third-place finish in Super Sporting, where he shattered 99 out of 100 against a field of 1,200 competitors. He also placed second in Five-Stand with 95 out of 100, battling through a field of 652 shooters. Powell rounded out his week by winning the Make-A-Break event, which was sponsored by Remington Ammunition.

Christian Hogg, Remington’s marketing director, praised the team’s early-season momentum.

“Team Remington continues its good shooting during the Florida swing,” Hogg said. “The fields at these events feature the world’s best shooters and to see the early success, it’s encouraging as we draw closer to the first NSCA Regional event and the World English Sporting Clays Championship being held at the National Shooting Complex in April.”

The 2026 NSCA season continues to heat up as Team Remington carries its momentum toward the upcoming regional events and the World English Sporting Clays Championship at the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio, Texas, this April.
