The 2026 RC Cup didn’t ease into the season. It burst open with a clean sweep.

At the South Florida Shooting Club in Palm City, Team Remington locked down the top three spots in the Main Event Overall, setting the tone for the National Sporting Clays Association calendar. Brandon Powell finished first at 189/200, Turner Parcell followed at 184/200 and Michael Luongo closed the podium at 183/200, a one-target margin separating second and third in a field of nearly 350.

More than 500 shooters competed across the weeklong schedule, a 950-target grind that began January 27 and wrapped Sunday, February 1. By the time the dust settled, Remington shooters were a constant presence on the leaderboard beyond the headline result.

Parcell delivered one of the performances of the week in the Super Sporting Event, posting 97/100 to earn High Over All against more than 330 shooters. Powell finished one target back to take second. Parcell also added a runner-up finish in the Friday Prelim with 98/100.

Luongo stacked his own set of near-misses and podiums. He placed third in the Thursday Prelim at 94/100, third in 20-Gauge Sporting with 45/50 and finished second in the 28-Gauge Super Sporting at 43/50.

“It was an impressive start to the sporting clay season,” said Christian Hogg, Remington’s marketing director. “The Main Event clean sweep is a testament to the depth of talent on Team Remington, and we look forward to many more podium finishes as the season ramps up.”
