USA Shooting: Rifle, Pistol Athletes Competing At 2023 ISSF World Cup Cairo

U.S. rifle and pistol athletes will compete this month in Cairo, Egypt, at the ISSF World Cup.

Henry Leverett and Katelyn Abeln of Team USA will compete at the 2023 ISSF World Cup in Cairo, Egypt, February 17-24. The duo won gold in the Mixed Team 25m Pistol event at the 2022 CAT Games.

USA Shooting rifle and pistol athletes will compete at the upcoming 2023 International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF) World Cup in Cairo, Egypt, from February 17 to February 24.

The U.S. athletes listed below will be attending the competition.

Women’s Rifle

  • Jeanne Haverhill: 2022 Dixie Double champion in Women’s 10m Air Rifle 
  • Ginny Thrasher: 2016 Olympic gold medalist in Women’s 10m Air Rifle 
  • Anne White: 2022 World Championships sixth place in Junior Women’s 10m Air Rifle Team
  • Abigail Gordon: 2022 USA Shooting Rifle National Championship fifth place in Women’s 10m Air Rifle
  • Kristen Hemphill: 2022 USA Shooting Rifle National Championship sixth place in Women’s 10m Air Rifle 

Men’s Rifle

  • Tim Sherry: 2022 Championship of the Americas four-time medalist 
  • Patrick Sunderman: 2022 Championship of the Americas three-time medalist 
  • Braden Peiser: 2022 World Championships gold medalist in Junior Men’s 50m Rifle 3-Position Team

Women’s Pistol

  • Suman Sanghera: 2022 Championship of the Americas gold medalist in Women’s 10m Air Pistol
  • Lexi Lagan: 2022 Championship of the Americas three-time medalist 
  • Katelyn Abeln: 2022 Championship of the Americas three-time medalist
  • Lisa Emmert-Traciak: 2022 USA Shooting Pistol National Championship silver medalist in Women’s 25m Sport Pistol

Men’s Pistol

  • Henry Leverett: 2022 Championship of the Americas two-time medalist
  • James Hall: 2022 Championships of the Americas silver medalist in 10m Air Pistol Men’s Team
  • Charles Platt: 2022 USA Shooting Pistol National Championship fourth place in Men’s 25m Rapid Fire
