Winchester has introduced the Model 77XS, a multi-pump pneumatic air rifle designed for BBs or .177 caliber pellets.

Described by the company as “Dual Fuel,” the rifle offers flexible shooting options for both casual target sessions and more precise pellet use. Shooters can load up to 50 BBs in its onboard reservoir or opt for single-shot pellets, with each pump building power up to a max velocity of 800 feet per second.

The 77XS comes equipped with a rifled steel barrel for added accuracy and a 4X 32 mm air gun scope out of the box. The black composite stock features a thumbhole grip that improves comfort and stability, an ergonomic design choice of interest especially for youth shooters. In addition, the action is fully manual; the shooter controls the power with up to 10 pumps per shot.

Weighing slightly more than three pounds and less than 38 inches in length, it’s compact enough for younger users or smaller-framed shooters, yet powerful enough to satisfy experienced air gun enthusiasts. Winchester has blended performance and usability in a design that feels rugged without being overbuilt.

While the Winchester 77XS won’t replace high-end PCP systems, its straightforward mechanics and adaptable dual-ammo design make it a solid choice for anyone seeking a reliable backyard rifle that won’t break your budget.

MSRP is $139.90. Go to winchesterairrifles.com.
