Winners From The Canadian National F-Class Championships

Rhys Ireland (pictured, above left), an American student living in Toronto and a member of the F-Open United States Rifle Team won the 2017 F-Open Canadian National Championship with a score of 434-30Vs. Triumphing over 160 other competitors, Ireland was awarded the Wylde Trophy, along with the traditional ceremonial sash and a gold plaque.

In the F-T/R Canadian National Championship Jeff Rorer (pictured, above right) of North Carolina and a member of F-T/R Team USA, took second place, winning a sliver medal with a score of 420-25Vs. Rorer is a regular shooter at Camp Butner, NC, where he developed his talent for the shooting sports.

Following close behind Rorer in third place was Robby Burton of Virginia—also a member of F-T/R Team USA, scoring 428-25Vs and winning a bronze plaque. Burton began shooting competitively in 2012, previously he was a competitive golfer, soccer player, and triathlon runner.

Mitchell Fitzpatrick of F-T/R Team USA won the Under-25 Canadian National Championship with a score of 406-24Vs and was awarded a gold plaque. Fitzpatrick first started shooting F-Class in 2013 at the age 16.
