CINCINNATI, Ohio (Feb. 26, 2026) — Three new locations, more than 100 new jobs and another step forward in the firearm and indoor range retail space. Range USA is set to open stores in Smyrna, Tennessee; Monroeville, Pennsylvania; and Lenexa, Kansas, this year as the indoor range giant continues to build on its national footprint.

The Smyrna and Monroeville locations, which serve the Nashville and Pittsburgh markets, respectively, are expected to open in the third quarter of 2026. The Lenexa store, serving the Kansas City market, is targeted for the fourth quarter.

Readers may recall our January profile of the Cincinnati-based company, which traced Range USA’s growth from a single location in 2012 to more than 50 stores across 14 states. Founded by Tom Willingham, the company was built on a simple idea: that buying and shooting firearms should be a clean, welcoming and approachable experience for everyone.

Each of the three new locations will follow the company’s established model, featuring state-of-the-art indoor shooting ranges staffed by range safety officers, a comprehensive retail selection of firearms, ammunition and accessories, and dedicated classroom spaces for firearm training and safety education. Range USA’s knowledgeable staff supports customers of all experience levels, from first-time shooters to seasoned enthusiasts.

The new openings are strategic additions to markets where Range USA already has a footprint. The company currently operates locations in Robinson Township (Pittsburgh), Goodlettsville (Nashville) and North Kansas City, Missouri.

“Our current Pittsburgh, Nashville and Kansas City locations have seen quick success, with local communities and customers embracing our presence,” Range USA Chief Operating Officer Jimmy McManus said. “This strong performance made expanding into Smyrna, Lenexa and Monroeville a strategic priority for us, and we're excited to see all three stores open with similar success.”

The expansion comes on the heels of a landmark year for the company. Range USA welcomed more than 300,000 new shooters in 2025, a figure that underscores the growing demand for trusted retail services and quality range experiences across the country. Since its founding, the company has hosted more than 10 million visitors and trained over 300,000 students through classes and private lessons.

Through its continued growth, Range USA remains focused on investing in its facilities, customer experience and community engagement to support responsible firearm ownership, the mission Willingham set out with more than a decade ago.
