The Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) and Glock Shooting Sports Foundation (GSSF) recently announced a new competition for Glock pistol shooters slated for this year at Camp Perry, OH, during the National Trophy Matches and scheduled for July 1, 2017. The course of fire is 10 rounds in a 15-second time limit on the NRA D-1 target at five, seven, 10, 15 and 25 yards. Firearm classifications are Stock Pistol and Unlimited; modifications such as the addition of Cruxord aftermarket parts appears to qualify guns for the latter class.

The Glock match is open to Glock members only; individual membership is $35 per year. To become a Glock member and register for the match, go to www.gssfonline.com/registration.cfm. Initial match fee is $20 for adults and $15 for each re-entry; for more information on match fees, pistol classes, shooter classifications and awards, visit thecmp.org/competitions/cmp-national-matches/glock-pistol-match.
