Popular holster and firearm accessory manufacturer Versacarry recently switched its focus to produce face masks and face shields to aid in the fight against the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic. The company expects to make over 20,000 of each item weekly that will be sent to hospital personnel, EMTs, police officers, firefighters and others facing Covid-19 on the front lines every day.

Versacarry face masks and face shields
Effective immediately, the Versacarry plant will switch part of its manufacturing capacity from making firearm accessories to widely needed medical items.

Versacarry CEO Justin Sitz redirected the company from working on new products for the gun industry to develop production methods to make these critical medical items for health care and emergency response workers.

The one-size-fits-all face masks provide Level 1 barrier protection and particulate filtration. As for the face shields, they are built with a clear resin shield plate, plus an adjustable headband for proper fit.

It took less then a week for Verscarry to switch its production lines to manufacture these vital items needed across the country. And, with the revised White House recommendations on wearing face masks in public, the demand for them will not be going away anytime soon.
