Horus Vision Reticle Technologies (HVRT), an innovative company that focuses on intelligent reticle technology, featured the Horus Virtual Reality Experience during the 2018 SHOT Show in Las Vegas, NV. Horus Vision reticles are based on hold over grid patterns. These reticles enable marksmen in all disciplines to rapidly engage targets with reduced correction time between shots. Additionally, long range shooting guru Todd Hodnett (learn more about Mr. Hodnett in this article) was also available for a few days during the show to visit his fans and share knowledge of precise, accurate rifle shooting.

The Horus Virtual Reality Experience allowed show attendees to experience the benefits of Horus Reticle systems in a fun, immersive way. This was an interactive display―the system featured the Tremor3 reticle with a complete rifle and user interface system to allow shooters to compensate for both wind and elevation adjustments. It was as if they were firing a real rifle. Both trainers and observers could view the action on display monitors.

HVRT had world-renowned long range shooting instructor Todd Hodnett available for informal training sessions utilizing the Horus Virtual Reality Experience. Hodnett is the founder and president of Accuracy 1st, and is a world-renowned trainer for the H59 and Tremor series of reticles. Hodnett was on hand, providing a demonstration of the virtual reality system, and also answered questions on Horus Vision products.
