Baschieri & Pellagri USA Pro Staff shooter Lance Thompson was the runner-up in Men’s American Trap at the 2024 Collegiate Lower East Coast Conference Championship, held at the Forest City Gun Club in Savannah, Georgia, February 9-11.
A member of the Jacksonville University Sporting, Skeet and Trap Team, Thompson showcased exceptional skill and determination throughout the competition on his way to securing the runner-up position in American Trap with a score of 98.
Thompson’s runner-up score at the 2024 Collegiate Lower East Coast Conference Championship was only one point behind the winner in Men’s Trap, Matthew Daniels.
“It was a great shoot to start of my last semester of college,” Thompson said. “I was able to take home second place in Men’s Trap. Next is Tucson, Arizona, for the second part of Olympic Trials and then off to San Antonio, Texas, for the 2024 Collegiate Clay Target Championships.”
Additionally, Thompson posted a score of 393 on the Men’s High Over All leaderboard, ranking him in 26th place in a field of 123 shooters.
