There are competitions, and then there’s the NRA World Shooting Championship, with 12 stages covering multiple shooting disciplines combined into one war-sized match.
From October 1 through 4, Camp Atterbury in Edinburgh, Indiana, transforms into the ultimate proving ground for both professional ringers and hungry amateurs. With more than $250,000 in cash and prizes up for grabs, this isn’t just a test of skill—it’s a battle for supremacy across the full spectrum of firearm sports.
And the best part? You don’t even need to bring your own gun. Thanks to powerhouse sponsors like Walther, Ruger, Daniel Defense, Mossberg, CZ-USA and many more, competitors are handed match-ready equipment, optics and ammo. That levels the playing field and dials the pressure up to 11.
The 2025 NRA World Shooting Championship kicks off with a mandatory competitor meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 30, but the real action begins Wednesday, Oct. 1, with three relentless days of shooting across 12 meticulously crafted stages. Competitors are divided into Professional and Amateur divisions, each with their own prize tables, and the top category finishers will also walk away with serious hardware and serious money.
