The Cornhuskers are on target.

Nebraska holds the No. 1 spot in this week’s CRCA Top 20 rifle rankings, released Sunday, November 9, 2025. The Huskers were idle over the weekend but remain in control after a dominant showing in their last outing—a 4742-336X win over Schreiner University on November 2 in Fort Worth. Notably, Nebraska rifle shot a program-high 2387 air rifle score that day in Texas.

Nebraska had shared the top spot with Kentucky last week, but the Wildcats tumbled to No. 12 after a narrow 10-point loss to Memphis on Saturday in Lexington, 4715-319X to 4705-302X. Next up, Nebraska travels to El Paso for a November 15 showdown with No. 7 UTEP.

Meanwhile, Texas Christian University continues to fire on all cylinders. The No. 4 Horned Frogs jumped to No. 2 in the CRCA rankings after taking down then-No. 3 West Virginia, 4732-4707, on Saturday at the X-Count in Fort Wayne, Indiana. It was another dominant day for TCU, which outshot the defending NCAA champions in both smallbore (2348-2329) and air rifle (2384-2378).

Marissa Fedora led the charge for TCU with a career-high 1183-86X aggregate, while Rylie Passmore matched her at 1183 to take second. Christina Hillinger and Mikole Hogan followed closely with 1181 each, and Micah Hames rounded out the top six with a 1180, matching her career high. Overall, TCU claimed five of the top six aggregate scores and five of the top seven marks in each discipline. TCU wraps up its fall schedule at home on Sunday, November 16, when the Frogs host Ole Miss.

And don’t sleep on Navy. The Midshipmen fired up the rankings, jumping from No. 7 to No. 3 after dominating the annual President’s Trophy Match on November 1 in Annapolis. Navy posted a commanding 4725-340X to defeat Air Force (4679-279X) and Army (4670-264X), scoring 5891 total points to capture the trophy for the first time since 2008 and snapping Air Force’s 11-year winning streak in the rivalry. Up next, Navy returns home to the Bancroft Hall Rifle Range to host No. 14 Akron on Saturday, November 15.
