First-Ever USPSA All-Ladies Championship To Debut In October

A Girl & A Gun Women’s Shooting League recently shared that the first-ever USPSA Ladies Handgun Championship will be held on October 7 at Rockcastle Shooting Center in Mammoth Park, KY. This match will be the signature event for the final day of the A Girl & A Gun Fall Festival. The festival features shooting clinics and competitive events for women.

Sponsored by SIG Sauer, the USPSA Ladies Handgun Championship will feature eight stages that will accommodate and challenge every skill level of shooters. The staff includes experts in match administration and should prove to deliver an exceptional experience for all involved. The championship will conclude with a prize table and awards ceremony. Additionally, John Scoutten and the crew from Jim Scoutten’s Shooting USA will be on hand to document all the action.

“We are so honored to have the confidence of Mike Foley and USPSA to roll out the first-ever all-ladies match,” said A Girl & A Gun founder Julianna Crowder. “We have so many talented female shooters in this sport, from D Class to Grand Masters. It will be fun for us to have an opportunity to come together for competition as well as camaraderie.”
