Federal Ammunition latest shotshell product is called Federal Premium High Over All, which the company abbreviates as HOA. Already featured at regional and national events, Federal Premium HOA will make its formal debut at the Minnesota HOA State Championship Shoot at the Minnesota Horse and Hunt Club in Prior Lake, Minn., August 27–29.

Federal High Over All (HOA)
Federal’s new HOA shotshell includes: 1. brass head, 2. target shotshell primer, 3. integral base wad and tapered hull design, 4. one-piece Podium wad, 5. high-antimony lead shot and 6. eight-segment crimp.

The company describes Federal Premium High Over All: "A hard, high-antimony lead payload and exclusive one-piece Podium wad produce the most consistent patterns, while the solid brass head and tapered, one-piece hull make reloading easier than ever. From beginners to elite and all shooters in-between, it’s the ultimate load for anyone wanting to knock more clay targets at the range."

For now, the Federal Premium HOA line-up boasts several 12-gauge 2¾-inch offerings (16 to be exact) with a wide range of payloads, velocity, dram and shot sizes to accommodate competitive shooters in multiple disciplines.

Here is what Federal Ammunition’s President, Jason Vanderbrink, had to say about the launch of Federal Premium HOA.

“We are excited to build on the great momentum of this new product line. Competitive shooters have been asking for a new competition load from Federal—and we’ve delivered with the best ever. Top shoots across the country have been buzzing about our new HOA product and we look forward to rolling it out over the next months leading up to the National Sporting Clays Tournament in Texas.”

At the upcoming Minnesota HOA shoot, Federal engineers, ambassadors and shooters will be on hand to showcase the product and answer questions. Additionally, Team Federal competitiive shooters Derrick Mein, Janet McDougal, Cameron Hicks, Curt Halbakken and Gregg Wolf will be competing at the championship.

As for future HOA products, Federal says a full line-up of sub-gauge offerings is coming next year. Learn more at federalpremium.com.
