SIG Sauer's new SIERRA6BDX line of riflescopes is the latest addition to the company's Ballistic Data Xchange (BDX) family of products. Available in three different zoom ranges, 5-30x56mm, 3-18x44mm and 2-12x40mm, these scopes boast HDX high transmission and high-definition optical design with up to 95 percent light transmission, along with Bluetooth connectivity to BDX-connected rangefinders up to 30 yards away.

The intuitive BDX 2.0 system includes nine pre-loaded, user-selectable Ballistic Drop Compensation (BDC) reticles in all SIERRA riflescopes. All of the new SIERRA6BDX optics have the Digital Focal Plane BDX-R2 smart reticle with 194 LEDs and wind holds.

Additional features in the SIERRA6BDX line of optics include the KinETHIC kinetic energy transfer indicator for ethical shots on target while hunting, and LevelPlex, which is an internal digital level intended to eliminate cant. As for power, two CR2032 batteries are used.

The two smaller SIERRA6BDX scopes with 40mm and 44mm objective lenses have 30mm main tubes, while the larger 56mm objective model has a larger 34mm main tube. All three optics are IP-7 waterproof rated. Pricing is as follows:

  • MSRP: $1,169.99—SIERRA6BDX 2-12x40mm
  • MSRP: $1,299.99—SIERRA6BDX 3-18x44mm
  • MSRP: $1,689.99—SIERRA6BDX 5-30x56mm
