Starline recently introduced another caliber, 6.5 Creedmoor rifle brass. Available with large rifle primer pockets and small rifle primer pockets, the new 6.5 Creedmoor rifle brass adds another popular round to Starline’s growing line-up of rifle brass.

The 6.5 Creedmoor was designed as a target caliber in 2007 by Hornady, and has also become an extremely popular hunting caliber. While it isn't as long as other 6.5 short action calibers, such as the .260 Remington, the 6.5 Creedmoor utilizes a 30° shoulder and minimal body taper to help achieve similar ballistics. The shorter length also gives it more versatility in bullet seating depth.

Nearly every major rifle company now offers either a bolt-action rifle or a modern sporting rifle in the 6.5 Creedmoor chambering.

Starline’s 6.5 Creedmoor brass is available suited for large or small rifle primers. The large rifle primer pocket version is the standard for the 6.5 Creedmoor round, and is what many shooters prefer. This is due to its reliable ignition, regardless of the temperature or the burn rate of the powder used.

The 6.5 Creedmoor brass suited for small rifle primers allows for increased consistency and accuracy. Under higher pressures, the small primer pocket version maintains primer pocket size much better than the large primer pocket version.

Starline manufactures a full line of handgun cartridge cases, and plans to offer additional rifle cases down the road—including .223 Rem, 7 mm-08 and .260 Rem. Learn more at www.starlinebrass.com.
