About its new Strike Eagle 3-18x 44 mm first focal plane optic, Vortex says it “closes the gap between tactical mid- and long-range shooting.”

Strike Eagle 3-18x 44 mm optic
The single-piece aluminum tube is black anodized. The Vortex Strike Eagle 3-18x 44 mm FPP optic is also nitrogen-gas purged and O-ring sealed to keep out moisture.

Cut from a solid block of aircraft-grade aluminum, the Strike Eagle 3-18x 44 mm FFP has a 34 mm main tube.

With a first focal plane reticle, the scale will stay in proportion to the zoomed image.

The new Vortex Strike Eagle 3-18x 44 mm FFP riflescope also sports an illuminated EBR-7C reticle, internal XD Optical System, along with a throw lever for quicker target acquisition at different magnifications, RevStop Zero System (tool-less zero stop after turret adjustment), and oversized turrets that have a tactile feel. In addition, the EBR-7C reticle has MOA and MRAD options.

As for adjustments, there is 62-MOA max windage adjustment and 154-MOA max elevation adjustment. Adjustment graduation is 1/4 MOA.

MSRP for the new Vortex Strike Eagle 3-18x 44 mm first focal plane riflescope is $849.99. Learn more at vortexoptics.com.
