NRA’s Shooting Sports USA Heads To Paris Olympics To Report On Shooting Events

The excitement of the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics is upon us, and NRA’s Shooting Sports USA will be there to cover the shooting events.

The Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games are underway, and Shooting Sports USA, the NRA’s competitive shooting journal, has boots on the ground in France to provide coverage of the shooting events from July 27 to August 5.

As a proud sponsor of USA Shooting, the NRA is committed to providing coverage of our talented U.S. shooting team and, as part of its mission to promote the shooting sports and to protect the Second Amendment. Regrettably, opportunities for USA Shooting athletes to share their achievements are becoming more restricted on social media platforms. Therefore, the NRA is proud to take the lead to highlight their efforts on the firing line at this critical time. 

There are 15 shooting events on the Paris 2024 Olympics program. All Paris 2024 Olympics shooting events will be held at the Chateauroux Shooting Center, which is located about 170 miles south of Paris.

The U.S. is sending 17 qualified rifle, pistol and shotgun athletes to compete at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. You can see the full roster of U.S. shooting athletes here.

The first medals at the Paris 2024 Olympics will be awarded in shooting for the Mixed Team 10m Air Rifle event, which begins at 4:30 a.m. ET on Saturday, July 27.
