It’s well known that air guns and airsoft can both be excellent tools for maintaining firearms proficiency. They can also ease the transition into firearms for new shooters and juniors. Whether you are looking for affordable training, a competitive edge, or just a fun time, 3-Gun Nation’s (3GN) fledgling Air Gun and Airsoft division is a fun and exciting competitive shooting program for individuals, families, beginner, and intermediate shooters.

The new division is a timed, fast-paced sport with rapid fire elements, designed for ages eight and up. The rules parallel the other 3GN firearms divisions. There are various target configurations that provide multiple response scenarios for shooters. These rapid fire shooting distances can be set at 30 feet or less.

Serious 3-gun competitors know how critical training is in order to maintain and improve skills. Rapid fire expenses can often cost folks a hefty amount of money in the form of ammo. Air gun and airsoft ammo is usually a fraction of the cost of regular firearms ammo. Participation in the 3GN Air Gun and Airsoft Division could potentially save shooters thousands of dollars in training ammunition.

Going International
Both air guns and airsoft are widely accepted internationally. Many countries have already adapted the use of air guns and/or airsoft at recreational, competitive, and law enforcement levels. 3GN Air Gun and Airsoft division range plans are easily adapted to the foreign market due to popularity of the 10 meter configuration internationally.

“We’re excited about the potential, as you can literally set these stages up anywhere,” said Chad Adams, vice president of 3GN. “Just hang some tarps, set your targets, and have some fun!”

The 3GN Air Gun and Airsoft division can provide action shooting to countries where firearms are banned or restricted. The hope is for 3GN to host an international championship through the Air Gun and Airsoft Division.
