2025 NRA RIFLE SILHOUETTE DATES
There is no mistaking the sound a silhouette target makes when struck by a bullet. That distinct sound will fill the air at the NRA Whittington Center in Raton, N.M., in July during the 2025 NRA Rifle Silhouette National Championships.

More about this year’s competition from the staff: “We are honored to welcome competitors, families and shooting sports enthusiasts to the world-class NRA Whittington Center in Raton, New Mexico. This historic venue provides the perfect backdrop for the pinnacle of rifle silhouette competition, where skill, precision and sportsmanship come together in the spirit of excellence.”

Regarding targets, NRA regulation 1/5th-scale smallbore animals and NRA regulation full-scale high power animals will be employed, with the smallbore animals painted white and high power animals painted black.

Match staff is requesting that all competitors register and submit payment as soon as possible. Not only does early registration help with processing entries, it also reduces the strain on staff for squadding, awards prep and other match administration tasks. Something else to note: entries submitted after July 4, 2025, must pay a $25 late registration fee.
