SIG Sauer is opening the Jacksonville Arkansas Ammunition Center with a big celebration on Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2024.

SIG Sauer recently announced the grand opening ceremony and celebration of the Jacksonville Arkansas Ammunition Center at the company’s ammunition facility located in Jacksonville, Arkansas, at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 9, 2024.

SIG Sauer leadership and employees will be joined by state, federal and local officials, along with U.S. Army representatives to ceremonially cut the ribbon of the Jacksonville Arkansas Ammunition Center at the grand opening.

A 210,000 square-foot facility, SIG Sauer said the new Jacksonville Arkansas Ammunition Center is an “ultra-scalable and automated ammunition manufacturing center purpose-built for the U.S Army’s Next Generation Squad Weapons Program.”

Additionally, the Jacksonville Arkansas Ammunition Center will bring 675 jobs to the community, providing a direct economic impact to the local Arkansas economy.

As mentioned, the grand opening ceremony for the Jacksonville Arkansas Ammunition Center will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 9, 2024. Something else to note: RSVP is required to attend this event. The address is 2651 Triangle Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas.
