WATCH: Bergara B14 R Rimfire Rifle

According to American Rifleman's Evan Brune, .22 LR is back in a big way and as such, firearms for the round were on display in full force at the SHOT Show 2020 Industry Day at the Range. Watch the video above, where he joins the great folks at Bergara to fill us in on the details regarding the new B14 R rimfire, which borrows from the company's centerfire offerings to deliver a premier-level .22 LR rifle that's ideal for precision shooting.

Designed as a true rimfire long-range trainer with similar dimensions as the Remington 700 platform, this gun will surely excel in this role, or as a standalone gun for use in disciplines like NRL22. For starters, the B-14R is an ideal platform for rifle customization, with an 18-inch 4140 Bergara barrel (1:16-inch twist) and B-14 action with HMR stock. A 10-round AICS-style magazine is included. Weight is 9.25 pounds, and with spacers the length is 38 inches. Best of all is the molded mini-chassis stock that has an adjustable cheekpiece and adjustable length-of-pull. Plus, the mini-chassis supports a fully free-floated barrel.

MSRP for the new Bergara B-14R is $1,150. Learn more at BergaraUSA.com.
