At SHOT Show 2020 Industry Day at the Range, NRA Publications caught up with the one and only Jerry Miculek, who filled us in on the details of the new shotgun that he provided input for (along with daughter Lena Miculek), the Mossberg 940 JM Pro Autoloader (MSRP: $1,015, Mossberg.com).

Jerry Miculek speed shooting with the Mossberg 940 JM Pro
At SHOT Show 2020, American Rifleman's Evan Brune and Shooting Sports USA's John Parker received a firsthand report from Jerry Miculek himself on the new Mossberg 940 JM Pro. Since its announcement, the new scattergun has drummed up much interest from competitive shooters.

Announced earlier this month, the 940 JM Pro builds on the successful 930 model, but with a bevy of enhancements geared towards competitive shooting, namely 3-gun. Watch the video at the top of this article to see the incredible Miculek display his legendary speed shooting skills, as he unloads the 940 JM Pro in about a second. Additionally, he outlines new features of the 940 JM Pro that will help with techniques like quad loading.

An updated design, the 940 JM Pro has an innovative new gas system and loading port, along with improved ergonomics and functionality. The larger loading port was specifically designed to help with quad-loading with no modification to the receiver necessary. We especially like the oversized charging handle and bolt release button.

Presently, the 940 JM Pro Autoloader comes with a synthetic stock that includes black or multicam black color options. Learn more at Mossberg.com.
