It didn’t take long for the Northeast to recapture not only the top spot, but the top five positions in the Crosman National Field Target Series (CNFTS). Hans Apelles of Somers, NY leads all rifle shooters with 256 points, all done with a Crosman 1720T pistol fitted with the shoulder stock that comes with the airgun. Craig Evans of Bethlehem, PA shoots the same gun in its standard configuration and leads the pistol competition with 200 points.

The CNFTS is conducted in cooperation with the American Airgun Field Target Association (AAFTA) and is a national competition tracking shooters using Crosman and Benjamin airguns throughout the October 2015 - September 2016 season. Scores are normalized to provide even footing for all AAFTA club members and bonus points are added for participation in regional “Grand Prix” events throughout the year, the Crosman All-American Field Target Championship in July and the AAFTA National Championship. The top three finishers in the Rifle and Pistol disciplines will be awarded product gift certificates and free entry to the 2017 Crosman All-American.
