Eagle Tears USA is a company based out of the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia that promises “freedom from carbon, grease, gunk and carbon” by using their non-toxic line-up of solvent, gun oil, and gun oil paste. The company was founded by George Van Orden, the fourth generation in a line of exceptional Marines

If you read SSUSA often, then you know of legendary two-time NRA High Power Rifle Champion Dennis DeMille. His endorsement does not come easily—but when asked for his thoughts on Eagle Tears gun care products, he said, “It’s unbelievable how smooth it made the action.”

The solvent is made from distilled citrus oil and the company’s proprietary blend of emulsifying oils. You can really smell the citrus when you open the bottle. Eagle Tears says that after the 28 days the solvent will biodegrade. MSRP: $9.98 for a 4 fl. oz. bottle.

Eagle Tears gun oil is made from a blend of food-grade oils that work together to combat friction, wear, jams and carbon build-up. Using the oil is pretty much the same as any other—apply and then wipe with a clean rag, and the oil works to eliminate the accumulation of sand, dust and other particulates fouling your firearm, keeping it from peak performance. MSRP: $5.98 for a 2 fl. oz. bottle.

The paste is packaged similar to lip balm, which is handy for high friction areas such as slide rails and rifle bolts where liquid can get messy. Eagle Tears says you can even use as an actual lip balm—we didn’t try that, though. MSRP: $4.99 per tube.

You can buy all three conveniently bagged together and ready for use. MSRP: $19.75 per package.
