Leupold has added to its line of optics mounting systems with the introduction of its new Mark 4 Integral Mounting System (IMS) mounts for modern sporting rifles, and expanded rifle fits in its QRW, PRW, Dual Dovetail, Quick Release and Standard bases.

"Rings and bases are often overlooked, but are critical to getting optimal accuracy out of your rifle and riflescope," said Tim Lesser, vice president of product development for Leupold.

The redesigned Mark 4 IMS is a one-piece mount optimized for modern sporting rifles. Lap-free scope rings feature four screws, with threaded steel inserts, to provide rock-solid lock down and stand up to the most punishing recoil. MSRP-$225.

Long-range shooters can opt for the Mark 4 IMS with 20 MOA built in, while casual shooters can choose a flat base. The Mark 4 IMS also provides a longer cantilever, which makes mounting longer optics easier on shorter rails. It's easier than ever to mount your riflescope where it's perfect for you, not where the mount dictates.

For fans of the round-receiver variants of the Savage 10/110 and Weatherby Mark V platforms, Leupold now offers QRW two-piece bases. These bases allow for the use of either QRW or PRW rings. MSRP-$51.

Dual Dovetail and Quick Release (QR) bases are now fit to the Browning AB3 rifle. MSRP-$37.

Leupold puts the same level of engineering and research into its scope mounts as with its riflescopes. The reason: the mount is the link between your rifle and riflescope. If it's not up to the task, the entire system suffers. The rings and bases for Leupold scope mounts are manufactured in the U.S. and forged from Strike Forged steel or aircraft-grade aluminum.
