Watch the video above featuring Colt's new Gold Cup Pistol with American Rifleman Editor-in-Chief Mark Keefe, and Colt's Senior Vice President of Commercial Sales, Paul Spitale, at Media Day during the 2017 SHOT Show in Las Vegas, NV.

The first Colt Gold Cup pistol was introduced in the 1950s. With it, competitive shooters now had a pistol they could take to the firing line with outstanding performance out of the box. The gun was, and still is, a favorite at the NRA National Pistol Championships, as well as at local precision pistol matches.

Spitale was heavily involved in the development of the new Gold Cup, wanting to make the gun even better for competitive shooters. It's now a Series 70 pistol, and has a National Match barrel just like the previous Gold Cup. Additionally, the Gold Cup features 25 lpi checkering on the mainspring housing and the front strap.

MSRP: $1699. Learn more at www.colt.com.
