2024 World FITASC Championship: Team Remington’s Wendell Cherry Wins Senior Division Title

Team Remington veteran Wendell Cherry topped the Senior division leaderboard at the 2024 World FITASC Championship hosted by Game Unlimited in Hudson, Wisconsin, on June 24-30.

Cherry walked away from the competition with a final score of 183, one point ahead of the Senior class runner-up, Alessandro Gaetani of Italy.

Presented by Remington and sister brand Federal Ammunition, the 46th annual World FITASC Championship had more than 1,000 shooters from 33 countries in total—all competing for a chance at more than $50,000 in guaranteed payouts.

More Team Remington shooters picked up hardware at the 2024 FITASC World Championship. National Sporting Champion Brandon Powell took High Over All for the combined Five-Stand event after shattering 93 of 100 targets, while Lane Picklo won the Super Sporting event with 195 of 200 targets, beating 316 other shooters in the process.

Additionally, Team Remington’s Madison Sharpe landed on the podium in the Women’s division, narrowly missing a top finish after a three-way shoot-off with Karen Miles and Haylyn Hanks. Sharpe’s final score was 182+13, good for third place.

Team Remington shooters compete with the company’s Premier STS, Premier Nitro 27 and Premier Sporting Clays target shotshells.
