Remington Ammunition sponsored shooter Brandon Powell secured High Over All in the Main Event at the 2024 Northeast Regional Sporting Clays Championship, held at the Hopkins Game Farm in Kennedyville, Maryland, August 14-18.

Powell walked away from the match with 193 of 200 targets to win the High Over All title. He was one point ahead of the Main Event runner-up, Blaize Whitehead. For the overall victory, Powell received a $5,000 payout, plus $1,050 for winning the Main Event, adding to his total match purse of $13,708.

In addition, Powell captured the Beretta FITASC Grand Slam and Super Sport High Over All titles after posting scores of 187 of 200 and 99 of 100 targets in each respective event. The Grand Slam netted him $2,500, while the Super Sport win gave him $1,000.

The 2024 Northeast Regional Sporting Clay Championship brought together the best sporting clays competitors in the region. There were 678 shooters that competed at the event in Maryland this past August.

Last year, Powell won the National Sporting Clays Association national championship title at the NSCA National Sporting Clays Championship, held at the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio, Texas, last October.

“Brandon’s outstanding performance at the 2024 Northeast Regional Championship gives him great momentum heading into the Sporting Clay Nationals in October, looking to repeat as the Main Event HOA,” Remington’s Vice President of Marketing Jason Nash said. “It has been amazing to watch Powell and all of our team members compete this year. Big Green looks forward to a strong finish to the 2024 season.”

Team Remington trap, skeet and sporting clays competitors shoot Remington Premier shotshells, namely the Premier STS and Premier Nitro families of ammunition.
