Remington’s salute to America’s semiquincentennial has gone from announcement to availability. Five months after the company laid out its We the People lineup, the commemorative loads are shipping to dealers nationwide—and the new ammunition will be built during 2026 only.
For We the People, Remington pulled popular cartridges straight from its existing catalog and wrapped them in limited-edition packaging tied to the nation’s 250th birthday, giving shooters and collectors a familiar load in a box worth keeping. Products that customers already trust on the range and in the field now carry commemorative artwork and, in a few cases, ship in collectible buckets rather than standard boxes.
“America's 250th anniversary is a historic milestone, and ‘We the People’ is Remington’s way of honoring the grit, tradition and freedom that have defined this country for generations,” said Christian Hogg, Remington’s Marketing Director. “By pairing proven, trusted ammunition with limited-edition packaging, we’re giving shooters and collectors a meaningful way to celebrate this moment in American history.”
Spread across the lineup is a mix that will please even the most discerning shopper. On the handgun side, 9 mm Luger 115-grain FMJ comes in a 250-count format under part number 21385 at a $93.99 suggested retail.
Rifle shooters get two options, with .223 Rem. 55-grain FMJ in a 250-count box (21388, $203.99) and .22-250. Rem 55-grain Pointed Soft Point in a 20-count box (21389, $37.99).
Rimfire fans can reach for .22 Long Rifle 33-grain Plated Truncated Cone Hollow Point in 250-count boxes (21387, $36.99), a load that traces back to Remington’s Yellow Jacket pedigree.
Shotgunners round things out with a 12-gauge 2-3/4-inch target load throwing 1-1/8 ounces of No. 8 shot in a 25-count box (21386, $13.99).
The broad lineup is appealing. A clay shooter, a plinker and a varmint hunter can each find something they’d already buy, now in a form that earns a spot on the shelf once the year closes out. And since production runs through 2026 alone, the collectible angle isn’t marketing varnish. Once the calendar turns, that’s the end of it.
Remington first walked the We the People line through SHOT Show 2026 in January and the ammo is available now at dealers nationwide and online. For more on Remington’s ammunition offerings, visit remington.com.
