Remington’s patriotic bucket collection now runs three series deep. Remington follows its We the People commemorative line with two more patriotic bulk-bucket series, and both are now on the way to dealers nationwide. Don’t Tread on Me and Come and Take It wrap familiar Remington loads spanning rifle, handgun and rimfire in packaging that borrows two of the oldest fighting words in American history.

Both series extend the America 250 push that began with the We the People buckets covered here earlier this month. “These additional patriotic bulk-bucket options symbolize American heritage, grit and pride,” Remington Marketing Director Christian Hogg said. “The buckets are built for shooters who take responsibility seriously, train often and are ready to defend.”

Don’t Tread on Me carries the coiled rattlesnake of the Gadsden flag, the 1775 banner that gave the young revolution one of its sharpest warnings. Four loads wear the snake. A 1,400-round bucket of .22 Long Rifle 36-grain plated hollow points anchors the series at a $141.99 suggested retail, joined by 300 rounds of 9 mm Luger 115-grain jacketed hollow points at $173.99 and 200 rounds of .223 Rem. 45-grain JHP at $247.99. Most interesting of the bunch may be the 7.62x39 mm entry, which puts 250 rounds of 125-grain pointed soft points in one bucket for $311.99 and gives AK-pattern rifle owners a new bulk ammo option.

Come and Take It reaches back further than Texas lore alone. The phrase famously flew over Gonzales in 1835, stitched above a cannon the Mexican army wanted returned, but Continental soldiers at Fort Morris, Georgia, hurled the same defiance at the British in 1778. Remington’s version covers three loads at launch. On the handgun side, 9 mm Luger 115-grain ammunition comes either as a 350-round FMJ bucket at $138.99 or a 250-round JHP bucket at $144.99, both loaded to 1,145 fps. The lone rifle entry packs 250 rounds of .223 Rem. 45-grain JHP at $309.99, a quick load rated at 3,550 fps from the muzzle.

Shooters who missed the first wave can still find the We the People buckets that started the run, including 250-round offerings of 9 mm Luger 115-grain FMJ at $93.99 and .223 Rem. 55-grain FMJ at $203.99. All of it is headed to dealers nationwide and online. Learn more at remington.com.
