Desirae Edmunds, one of the most accomplished shooters in the world of sporting clays, has been honored with induction into the National Sporting Clays Association (NSCA) Hall of Fame. This prestigious recognition celebrates her outstanding career and lasting contributions to the sport.

The induction ceremony will take place at Hilton Hill Country in San Antonio, Texas, on October 23, 2025, where she will be honored alongside other top contributors to the sport of sporting clays.

A native of Anchorage, Alaska, Edmunds began her journey in competitive shooting at a young age, quickly rising through the ranks with a combination of natural talent, tireless dedication and a fierce competitive spirit. Over the years, she has claimed multiple national and world titles, and has consistently been a top contender in sporting clays.

Her achievements include numerous NSCA National Championships, countless All-American team selections and several World FITASC titles. Beyond her dominance on the sporting-clays course, Edmunds is widely respected for her leadership, sportsmanship and efforts to grow the sport—especially among women and younger shooters.

“It was a complete surprise when I first heard I was being inducted into the National Sporting Clays Association Hall of Fame,” Edmunds said. “I am truly humbled to be receiving this prestigious honor. This is something that most shooters dream of. It seems like a lifetime ago I pulled the trigger at my first clay and at the same time my journey is flying by at the speed of light. I am so grateful to have amazing teammates and sponsors that have made this dream a possibility. I fall in love with this sport more and more every tournament I attend, every clay target I shoot and every person I meet. Although this will be one of the highest achievements of my shooting career, I am excited for this journey to continue.”

More about the NSCA Hall of Fame: “Established to recognize the most influential figures in sporting clays, the NSCA Hall of Fame honors shooters, instructors and ambassadors who have elevated competitive clay-target shooting through exceptional performance and dedication.”

Her induction into the NSCA Hall of Fame not only celebrates her exceptional skill but also her role as a mentor and ambassador in the shooting sports community. Edmunds’ legacy continues to inspire both seasoned competitors and new shooters alike.

A Team Beretta shooter, Edmunds competes with the Beretta A400 XCel Sporting shotgun.

“Desirae represents everything we value in a competitor—grit, humility and a passion for the sport,” Beretta USA Director of Marketing Trang Dam said. “Her induction into the NSCA Hall of Fame induction is incredibly well deserved, and we’re proud to have her represent Team Beretta and continue setting the bar for future generations.”

With her soon-to-come induction, Desirae Edmunds will join an elite group in the NSCA Hall of Fame, recognizing a career defined by championship titles and dedication to the sport. As a longtime member of Team Beretta, her legacy continues to inspire future generations of competitive shooters and represents the best of sporting clays on the national and international stages.
