Hornady-sponsored shooter Lauryl Akenhead picked up a pair of wins at the 2025 MDT Frostbite PRS Pro Series Qualifier match in Butlerville, Indiana, February 22-23.

Akenhead landed at the top of the Production division leaderboard and secured the Top Lady honor. She walked away from the 2025 MDT Frostbite Precision Rifle Series competition with 180 match points. In addition, Akenhead was ranked 22nd on the overall leaderboard.

At the 2025 MDT Frostbite PRS Pro Series Qualifier match, Akenhead was shooting Hornady’s 6 mm 110-grain A-Tip Match bullets.

“The 2025 MDT Frostbite Match in Indiana was a challenging, cold, but well-run event,” Akenhead said. “My Hornady 110-grain A-Tips performed flawlessly, delivering excellent consistency and accuracy in tough conditions. It was a great way to kick off the season and put my gear to the test.”

Last September at the 2024 International Precision Rifle Federation World Championship, Akenhead won the Ladies division title. At that competition, she was also shooting Hornady’s 6 mm 110-grain A-Tip Match bullets.
