When Aguila Ammunition debuted their Minishell in 2015, they hoped, as does everyone, that their product would be the one to capture the attention and adulation of the market. The response they received however, was better than they ever could have anticipated. The Aguila Minishell has proven so popular that within hours of delivery anywhere, it is soon out of stock, a sell-out rate generally only heard of in .22 LR. The demand was so intense, in fact, that it was impossible for the supply to keep pace; until now.

Texas Armament and Technology (TxAT), along with Aguila Ammunition, have excitedly announced that not only is the Aguila Minishell back on shelves, more shotshells were manufactured last year than since the product’s inception. The round will be readily available in Buckshot, Slug, and in the coming weeks, 7½ shot.

"Our facilities in Cuernavaca, Mexico, turned their focus to our Minishell line so our supply was able to catch up to the demand," stated John Domolky, director of sales for TxAT/Aguila Ammo. "With an increase in our production to run 24/7, our very patient customers will now be satisfied customers."

"We handled the Minishell demand very much how we managed the rimfire demand in 2013-2014. Because Aguila Ammunition and our production facility, Tecnos, have the means to change and increase manufacturing capabilities, we were the rimfire manufacturer that stayed ahead of the rimfire demand. We should now be able to maintain the same stay-ahead with the Minishell," Domolky continued.

So what’s all the fuss about anyway? Well, the Minishell, proprietary to Aguila, is a 1¾-inch shell that packs a punch, while still offering low recoil, and reduced noise.

You can pick up Aguila Minishell today at your local local Brownell's, Academy Sports & Outdoors, Cabela's, Sportsman's Warehouse, Midway USA, Gander Outdoors, Turner's Outdoorsman, Dunham's Sports, Rural King and other locations nationwide.
