Federal Ammunition recently announced the addition of two shotshell loads that are optimized for FITASC competitions to its Gold Medal Paper ammo lineup.

The two new FITASC loads are 12-gauge, 2¾-inch, 28-gram, 1,330-f.p.s. at the muzzle, 3½-dram in sizes No. 7½ or 8.

FITASC is an international version of American sporting clays that is popular worldwide.

Currently, Federal’s Gold Medal Paper product lineup includes 11 cartridge offerings.

Federal’s paper hull design incorporates a two-piece wad with SoftCell technology to decrease perceived recoil and produce more uniform patterns when compared to one-piece designs. In addition, the brass head makes for better cycling and extraction, plus the lead shot is engineered for the optimum blend of hardness and density.

“These new paper shotshells feature a 28-gram payload ideal for international FITASC competition,” Federal’s Shotshell Product Manager Josh Vickers said. “Like all Gold Medal Paper loads, they feature a high-quality brass head, harder shot, and two-piece SoftCell wad design that reduces felt recoil and improves patterns.”

MSRP: $20.99. The new Federal Gold Medal Paper FITASC shotshells are available in 25-count boxes and are now available at select dealers. Learn more at federalpremium.com.
