Riton Optics has introduced the 5 Tactix 1-6X 24 mm Thunder Ranch LVPO, a low power variable optic that was developed in partnership with Clint Smith from Thunder Ranch.

Riton Optics built the 5 Tactix 1-6X 24 mm Thunder Ranch LVPO riflescope specifically for modern sporting rifle platforms. From the announcement: “Riton Optics, Clint and the Thunder Ranch team put their minds together to build this optic, so users can shoot with confidence knowing that this optic has earned the right to wear the Thunder Ranch Shield and Lightning Bolt.”

The one-piece aluminum 30 mm main body tube of the Riton Optics 5 Tactix 1-6X 24 mm Thunder Ranch LVPO riflescope weighs 22.2 ounces.

The 1X to 6X Second Focal Plane optical system of the 5 Tactix 1-6X 24 mm Thunder Ranch LVPO was engineered to provide shooters distortion-free target acquisition with both eyes open at single power, for quick and accurate engagements at close to medium ranges.

The six-step illumination knob on the left side of the optic adjusts brightness. There are six levels of green illumination with an off-setting between each brightness level.

Windage and elevation adjustments on the new 5 Tactix 1-6X 24 mm Thunder Ranch LVPO are available via the low profile MRAD zero resettable turrets housed under machined aluminum turret caps.

Sporting with the all-new “THR” bullet drop compensator reticle, the 5 Tactix 1-6X 24 mm Thunder Ranch LVPO is optimized for 55-grain 5.56 mm NATO /.223 Rem. cartridges that are fired from a 16-inch barrel. In addition, there are precise aiming points for 25, 100, 200, 300, 400 and 500 yards, along with five and 10 m.p.h. wind holds.

“Anyone that knows me, knows I run my gear hard, and that includes my scopes,” said Clint Smith, the founder and CEO of Thunder Ranch. “Simply put, these scopes work, and they last. Enough said.”

MSRP for the new Riton Optics 5 Tactix 1-6X 24 mm Thunder Ranch LPVO is $899.99. Learn more at ritonoptics.com.
