SIG Sauer is expanding its ROMEOZero line of micro-reflex sights for 2022 with the introduction of the ROMEOZero Elite, which sports a new carbon-infused polymer housing and long battery life.

All rear surfaces of the housing have anti-reflection grooves molded in, while a steel shroud is included for additional protection. Overall length is 1.6 inches, width is 0.98 inches and height is one inch. The weight (sans battery) is 0.5 ounces.

With a 24 mm objective lens, the ROMEOZero Elite is available with two reticle options: A circle dot reticle with a 2-MOA dot in combination with a 32-MOA circle, or a standard 3-MOA dot. Adjustment increments for both reticles are 0.25 MOA. And with eight daytime illumination settings, SIG says the ROMEOZero Elite can run for up to 20,000 hours on one CR1632 battery.

As for compatibility, the ROMEOZero Elite will fit all P365X/XL variants and all Shield RMS and RMSc optics footprints, including Springfield Hellcat OSP and Glock G43X and G48X.

Along with the distortion-free, aspheric glass 24 mm objective lens, the ROMEOZero Elite has a point-source LED emitter—producing a dot that SIG says is eight times more efficient than conventional red dots.

In addition, T.A.P. (Touch Activated Programming) provides an alternate method of changing brightness and reticles, and the SuperLuminova glow-in-the-dark rear sight serves as a backup.

Pricing for the ROMEOZero Elite micro-reflex sight is set at $229.99 (3-MOA dot) and $259.99 (2-MOA dot and circle). Made in the U.S., the ROMEOZero Elite is assembled at the SIG Sauer Electro-Optics facility in Wilsonville, Oregon. Learn more at sigsauer.com.
