New from Umarex USA is the Komplete NCR (Nitrogen Cartridge Rifle), which the company said is the world’s first air gun powered by a pre-filled high pressure nitrogen cartridge.

More from Umarex about the Komplete NCR: “[It] offers the high-powered performance of a pre-charged pneumatic air gun without the traditional hassles of filling with high-pressure air.”

Komplete NCR
No air pumps or compressors are needed with the Komplete NCR air rifle. After screwing in the NitroAir cartridge, it is at full pressure.

By employing the NitroAir cartridge system, the Komplete NCR doesn’t need a high-pressure air compressor, air gun hand pump or external tanks. Pre-filled with nitrogen, NitroAir cartridges provide shooters with more than 900 f.p.s. velocities and more than 45 consistent high-velocity shots.

According to Umarex, the Komplete Nitrogen Cartridge Rifle achieves 1,025 f.p.s. velocity with .177 caliber and 975 f.p.s. with .22 caliber using standard lead pellets.

Each NitroAir cartridge is compressed to 3,600 p.s.i. with 32 grams of nitrogen per cylinder and works seamlessly with the Umarex Komplete NCR.

Nitrogen is a stable, moisture-free gas, which should provide for a reliable shooting experience and reduced maintenance needs.

Rotary magazine
The Umarex Komplete NCR uses multi-shot rotary magazines.

Using a multi-shot rotary magazine, the Umarex Komplete NCR is a side lever-action air rifle with a 1,800 p.s.i. regulator.

Additionally, the Komplete NCR sports an adjustable trigger, top-mounted Picatinny rail and M-LOK slots on the bottom of the fore-end.

Included with purchase of the Komplete NCR are a NitroAir cartridge, 4X 32 mm scope with rings and two multi-shot rotary magazines.

MSRP for the Umarex Komplete NCR is $199.99. Right now you can buy it in a bundle for $289.48. As for the NitroAir cartridges, a two-pack will set you back $24.99. Go to nitroair.com to learn more.
