Nightforce has a lot to be proud of this year. As for the competitive shooting world, at the top of their list is shooter Scott Satterlee, and his earth-shattering match performances this year in both PRS (Precision Rifle Series) and NRL (National Rifle League) competition.

For 2018, Satterlee finished in the top five for the PRS season, also earning High Senior honors. At the Defy the Distance match in Three Forks, MT, in September 2018, he won the match outright. This is in addition to his eight other top 10 finishes in 2018.

As for the NRL, Satterlee finished eight place overall in the final season standings.

And if all this isn't enough, Satterlee found the time to provide training to 100 eager precision rifle students at the Nightforce ELR PRS match at the Q Creek Ranch in Wyoming. He wore two hats at the ELR match, serving concurrently as the match director.

As a Nightforce shooter, naturally Satterlee uses a range of the company's products for competition. For 2018, for precision long-range competition he was using the ATACR 7-35x56 mm F1. Regular SSUSA readers will note this is the same scope that Paul Phillips used to win the 2018 NRA Extreme Long Range National Championship.

For his carbine is the ATACR 1-8x24 mm F1 optic, and for hunting he uses two scopes: the ATACR 4-16x42 mm F1 and SHV 4-14x 50 mm F1.
