Real Avid has added three new docking mounts to its Smart-Assist Quick-Connect system.

The Real Avid Smart-Assist Quick-Connect system, which includes a 180-lumen work light, five-inch magnifying glass and a cell phone holder, functions as a “third hand” by using flexible arms that attach to a quick-connect Smart-Dock.

As mentioned, Real Avid is expanding the Smart-Assist Quick-Connect system with three docking mounts which, according to the company, will “accommodate a variety of work areas and needs.”

First is the Smart-Assist-Surface Mount. The Surface Mount (MSRP: $19.99) is available in a three-pack (one for each Smart-Assist accessory) and is designed to mount flush on a benchtop or wall via three screws. With this system, multiple docks can be placed in various areas across your work area so you always have the tools you need, where you need them. In addition, the mount is reversible, allowing you to either mount it on the surface of the work bench or flush with the bench top to keep the surface flat.

The second addition is the Real Avid Smart-Assist-Magnetic Mount. Intended for use on steel surfaces, the new Magnetic Mount (MSRP: $29.99) sports six strong magnets in its base, allowing it to be placed in a variety of positions.

Finally, there is the Smart-Assist-C-Mount. Operating similar to a C-clamp, the new C-Mount (MSRP: $24.99) is designed to provide a stable mount on flat edges, such as at the edge of a workbench. Additionally, this unit is reversable and includes four Smart-Assist docks—two on the bottom and two on top.
