In the game of competitive shooting, how we carry our gear matters as much as the gear itself. Whether you’re walking into a match, loading up for a range day or flying across the country for a championship, the right case makes all the difference. That’s why I’m excited to put the spotlight on the Savior Equipment x TAM Specialist Covert rifle case, a purpose-built, field-tested carry system that’s got the chops for USPSA Pistol-Caliber Carbine division, Three-Gun and the lightning-fast world of Steel Challenge. And let me be clear right up front—this isn’t your average soft case.

DESIGNED FOR SHOOTERS, BY SHOOTERS

This exclusive collaboration between Savior Equipment and TamFamGram is more than just a slick product drop; it’s the result of real-world testing and design input from people who actually run guns. You’ve got three sizes to choose from: 30-inch, 34-inch and 38-inch, each tailored for different platforms and barrel lengths.

I’ve been using the 38-inch model, which fits my competition PCC, Multigun AR and Steel Challenge Rimfire rifle setups like a glove, with room to spare for accessories, magazines and match essentials.

BUILT FOR VERSATILITY: PCC, STEEL CHALLENGE, MULTIGUN

This bag is USPSA Pistol-Caliber Carbine division-ready. We’ve seen PCC continue to maintain its initial popularity across USPSA, and this case is dialed in for it. The 38-inch internal compartment (measuring 37x12.5x3 inches) securely fits a full-size 16-inch PCC with a muzzle brake or suppressor.

Your gun’s not bouncing around inside, either; rigid hook-and-loop lockdown straps and an adjustable muzzle holder keep everything tight. With the full-length LCM panel (36x11 inches), you can build out your own internal layout with pouches, medical kits or magazine holsters.

STEEL CHALLENGE: PCC & RIMFIRE

Steel Challenge shooters, take note: this is the rare case that can handle both your PCC and a backup .22 rifle or pistol. That removable padded divider means you can safely transport two long guns to the range—PCC in one compartment, a rimfire rifle or even a carbine-style pistol in the other. Rimfire optics and competition setups can be fragile; this case’s padding and structure give you peace of mind.

MULTIGUN PRACTICALITY

If you’re shooting Three-Gun or Two-Gun, you know how chaotic gear management can be. This case simplifies your loadout. The external accessory pockets (top: 10.5x7.25 inches, bottom: 23.5x11 inches) fit slings, ear pro, tools, cleaning kits and even a lightweight chest rig or belt setup. The concealed pocket with loop lining? Perfect for a discreetly stowed pistol or emergency gear.

Plus, don’t forget the hideable backpack straps. Whether you’re hiking a muddy bay at a local club or sprinting to the chrono station at the USPSA Nationals, carrying this thing like a backpack keeps your hands free and your load balanced.

SPECS AND FEATURES THAT MATTER

This case is loaded, and not just with your gear. Here’s what makes it a standout:

  • 1000D and 1680D ballistic nylon construction: tear-resistant, rugged and ready for abuse.
  • Weather-resistant KAM zippers: lockable, smooth and built to last.
  • Double-stitched seams: this is not a “seasonal use” case. It’s meant for the long haul.
  • Morale patch panel: fly your club colors or squad morale patches.
  • Loop LCM panel and cinch straps: build out your internal configuration just how you like it.

The included rifle straps (11.5 to 15 by 1.5 inches wide) and accessory straps (15x1 inches) give you flexibility for securing multiple configurations. Plus, when you unzip the full case, it lies completely flat, ideal for use as a padded workspace or staging area.

LOW-PROFILE LOOKS, HIGH-LEVEL PERFORMANCE

From the outside, the Specialist Covert looks more like a premium travel bag than a rifle case. No MOLLE overload, no giant logos, just a clean and professional appearance that keeps prying eyes off your loadout. For competitors flying with firearms or just looking to avoid unwanted attention, this kind of discretion is golden.

And remember, this is only available through TamFamGram, making it a unique piece of kit that stands apart from the usual off-the-shelf options. Like most exclusives, once they’re gone, they’re gone.

I’ve been around long enough to know a gimmick when I see one and this isn’t it. The Savior Equipment x TAM Specialist Covert rifle case is a legit workhorse for competitive shooters. Whether you’re hammering steel at your local Steel Challenge match, sprinting between stages in Multigun or traveling across state lines for a USPSA Pistol-Caliber Carbine match, this case has the space, structure and smart design to keep you dialed in and ready.

It’s rugged where it needs to be, customizable where it counts and subtle in all the right ways. Plus, with Savior’s lifetime warranty, you know the company stands behind its gear the way we stand behind our sport.

This one’s a winner, folks. Find the Savior Equipment x TAM Specialist Covert rifle case exclusively at saviorequipment.com.
