Team Beretta Shines At Florida Sporting Clays Championship

Team Beretta's Zachary Kienbaum, Joseph Fanizzi, and Desirae Edmunds secured 13 podium finishes in six different events at the 2020 Florida Sporting Clays Championship, held Dec. 2-6 at Blackjack Sporting Clays in Sumterville, Fla. The total prize purse for the event was $73,000.

Kienbaum, who was shooting a standard Beretta DT11, earned the HOA championship title for the main event with an exceptional score of 192 out of 200 targets. In addition, he won another HOA championship, a runner-up and a third-place podium finish in the preliminary and Super Sporting events with scores of 99 of 100 and 95 of 100, respectively.

Junior Team Beretta member Fanizzi, who shoots with a Beretta A400 Xcel Sporting Black Edition, won the main event junior champioship title and HOA championship podium title in the FITASC event. Her scores were 185 of 200 targets and 98 of 100 targets, respectively.

As for Edmunds, who was shooting a Beretta DT11 L, secured a ladies third-place podium finish in the main event with a score of 170 of 200 targets. She also achieved three ladies champion and three ladies runner-up podium finishes in the preliminary, FITASC, 5-Stand and Super Sporting events with scores of 92 of 100, 94 of 100, 47 of 50, 84 of 100, 87 of 100 and 90 of 100 targets, respectively.
