Winchester Ammunition just gave its playbook a major upgrade. The 159-year-old brand, known for its deep roots in American shooting sports, has officially opened a sleek new office in Clayton, Missouri, a move that blends tradition with modern energy.
The space will house nearly 70 full-time Winchester division employees, plus corporate teams in finance, tech and HR.
For Winchester President Brett Flaugher, this isn’t just about square footage, it’s about culture.
“Winchester recognized opportunities with a new division office that will benefit its employees and corporate culture for years to come,” Flaugher said. “Winchester is a brand with 159 years of history and a strong legacy as an industry leader, and we are excited about operating our business in this new environment.”
The ribbon-cutting wasn’t just a photo op. Congressman Sam Graves joined the celebration, alongside Senators Josh Hawley and Eric Schmitt, signaling strong political backing for the move.
“I am proud that Winchester has chosen Missouri for the location of its newly created headquarters,” Graves said. “To have the only American-owned major ammunition manufacturer in the state of Missouri is a source of pride for the region and a vote of confidence in our workforce.”
Winchester’s new digs don’t replace its manufacturing muscle—those plants across the U.S. are still humming. But the Clayton office is designed to boost connectivity and attract top talent, reinforcing Winchester’s status as the global leader in small-caliber ammunition for hunters, recreational shooters, law enforcement and the military.
More than 150 people showed up for the opening, proving that even after 159 years, Winchester knows how to make a statement.
